BRUCE AND THE STARFOX
Bruce and the Starfox is one of Frank Allen’s unique artwork creations that are extremely quick, confident, creative, and unencumbered by any contrivance. He achieves this by distracting himself with conversation and music. Just enough that the lines are free to be what they will be and unhindered by a set purpose or visual destination. In fact, he rarely has any plan for a painting or drawing that is counter-intuitive and enables things to emerge that are instantly recognizable to both the viewer and to himself. Frank Allen's inspiration and artwork come from several Old Masters and Abstract expressionism like -- Jackson Pollock, Alexander Calder, Joan Miro, and Wassily Kandinsky.
